Kanquona Bhattacharjee - freelance writer

Something about my childhood and education: I was born in Arunachal Pradesh, a hilly area in the north east of Indian Territory. The place is remote, residents are mainly tribal and was short of all modern amenities. Yes, this is the place I still adore. I wish I could go back there. You might not be at the best of your luxury there, but why should you? Instead I can get a nap on the lap of nature, fill my ears with the chirping of birds, can play with clouds and get drenched in. You can walk down the the narrow street which goes between the hills and then is lost forever, in the twilight. You can dance in the tune of dancing water droplets which come with heavy rain, can get yourself draped in blanket and kiss the coffee mug in the warmth of home and fireplace. When you feel lonely, you can play hide and seek game with cloud and sun or can sing tribal song with all fellow brave and great hearts.

But you know education is something which always takes you separated from nature and puts you in the civilized modern world. So I had to come back to Kolkata and get myself admitted to Central School. central School is the biggest network schools run by the Government Of India and has a uniform syllabus as well as modus operandi across India. I started to learn while totally out of fun. A day came when I found myself ready to come out of four walls of School and can enjoy the freedom of College. I was in dilemma in what stream I shall pursue my further education. My brain was saying to go for Microbiology while my heart was saying to try English. Of course my heart won and I stepped into the world of literature which was a companion of me since my childhood. What was a friend now turned into a philosopher and guide. I completed my graduation and then post graduation.

At this stage of my life I met my future life partner and we decided to walk together. The initial social customs obviously delayed my plan but soon I got settled down to aim for my future. I always wanted to be a writer and in order to achieve that I started to write for electronic magazines. Then I started my first blog with blogspot. Soon, I realized that I must own one and that gave birth to my first venture Web Article Technologies Expert. It was an instant success. But being a woman myself, I felt the urge to devote an entire section for the women. So I opened this blog.
